In July of 1967, William Shirey, James Plummer and a number of other men formed the Fairfield Boys Club to provide activities for their sons like those available to boys in the cities. In 1971 the club was incorporated by William Shirey, Jim Plummer, James McCreery, Robert Fulcomer and Guy Betz.
The Fairfield Boys Club activities include business meetings, craft nights, camp outs, service projects, trips, fundraisers and dinners among a variety of other events!
